Tea
Recipes Masala Chai (makes about 3 tablespoons) Ingredients1 black cardamom pod Seeds from 25 green cardamom pods 4 cloves 1/2 tea spoon fennel seeds 1/4 teaspoon black peppercorns 1/4 teaspoon carom seeds 1 tea spoon dried, ground ginger powder 1 tea spoon ground cinnamon powder Grind all the ingredients in a spice grinder until fine. Remove into a glass bottle & store in cool, dark place. This blend stays fresh for about 6 months. Preparation 1. Bring two cups of water to
the boil. Add 1 tsp tea leaves
(2 bags), add 1/4 tsp dry chai masala. Please note that the amount can
be
varied depending on personal preference. Boil again for about 15
seconds. Let
stand for one minute.

Cumin synergizes well with ginger, performing most of the same functions; it cleanses the blood also. While ginger and cumin have a heating tendency, coriander is cooling. It provides the cooling balance to both herbs while performing most of the same actions; it is also a diuretic. Ingredients Preparation Energizer Tea Ingredients 1/4 tsp dry sage leaves.1/4 tsp rosemary leaves 1/4 tsp thyme leaves ½ tsp bsil leaves ½ tsp ginger powder Preparation Mix ingredients and store in an air tight container To make tea measure 1tsp per cup and place in a warmed ceramic tea pot. Pour boiling water over it. Cover pot and spout. Steep for 15 minutes and strain into cups. Ingredients Ginger is an
effective ingredient which relieves nausea and other
digestive
