The One Day Juice Detox or juice Fasting
 

Detox or juice fasting  helps in making your skin look clearer,  regulating bowel movements, colon cleansing and for better and more efficient kidney and liver functions and to reducing stress levels. During this one day detox it is recommended that you avoid any refined sugar, dairy products, gluten, corn products, caffeine, alcoholic beverages, food additives and preservatives.

Do not do any strenuous exercise, you could do some light stretching and breathing exercises after breakfast. The detox or juice fasting  day should be a day when you relax and rejuvenate your mind and body.  Drink atleast 8 glasses of  water throughout the day.

Juice detox Breakfast:
Start with a glass of warm water with a little lemon juice. This is a gentle way to begin the day and flush out your system. After about half an hour have apple juice. You may combine apple  juice with carrot juice. You could also try this Watermelon Detox recipe for breakfast.


 




Juice detox Brunch:

Have some herbal tea like peppermint tea to aid in the detoxification or juice fasting  process. After about half an hour have any fruit juice preferably a waterbased fruit juice of your choice. 

Juice detox Lunch:

This is the time most people experience hunger pangs. Try  juicing vegetables for lunch like this  Veggie detox recipe. Have another glass of water. After about an hour have a cup of herbal tea with ginger.
Relax during the afternoon. Listen to music. Do not do any strenuous activity during the juice fasting.
Have some more water.

Juice detox Evening snack:

Try the juice of strawberries or cranberries or blueberries. Mango juice is also great at this time of the day. It gets rid of any hunger pangs you may be feeling.
Have another glass of water

Juice detox Dinner:

End the day with the dinner detox juice recipes which will help you feel sleepy and relaxed. Make juices which give a feeling of fullness and which would help prevent hunger pangs. 
Have another glass of water. Relax with music and an aromatherapy bath.

Some people experience hunger cravings during the night. Keep a glass of pineapple, apple or mango juice in the refrigerator and treat yourself to it if you feel too hungry.

Remember to drink plenty of water throughout the day.

Start the next day with fresh fruits and vegetables.

After you do a detox or a juice fasting day  try and eliminate foods which are harmful to your body like alcohol or processed foods.
